Composite Technical Manual. |
This manual was created to help students who want to learn more about composite material in theoretical calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling in a commercial software ANSYS. The second part of this manual was about creating a model for stress and strain analysis. This part became intuitive and obvious when I fully comprehended this topic. However, people who read my manual will have no clue if I only point out some of the critical steps and skip many basic ones. Thus, this manual's purpose was writing to me several months ago when I knew nothing about composite. I included a very detailed derivation of the equations used in theoretical validation on pages 2 and 3. Additionally, after each section of step by step tutorial, I added the reason behind some of the steps, so anyone who comes across this manual can genuinely know what they are doing instead of following the steps without understanding them. Besides being a researcher, being a professor is also a viable career path because I want to share my knowledge and inspire more people into engineering and hopefully motivate them to keep learning and breach the boundary of our knowledge. Therefore, to achieve my goal, it is essential to explain my ideas in an understandable way.
